HIFI Anti-Vibration / Isolation feet

Rangitoto is a volcanic island in the Hauraki Gulf near Auckland, New Zealand, with its distinctive symmetrical shield volcano cone rising 260 metres high over the Hauraki Gulf, forming an iconic landmark of Auckland.

Inspired by the appearance of the volcano, the creators have constructed the Rangitoto R1 Vibration Dampener Pod with very high strength solid stainless steel, coupled with three soft dampening engineered rubber rings on the top and underside to provide outstanding vibrational dampening and anti-slip / anti-scratch performance.

Much like the shield volcano, the top of the Rangitoto R1 is dominated by a sharp central indent, capable of taking spiked dampeners to further minimize unwanted vibrations as well as internal and external harmonics resonance. This enhance the presence of mid-range, accuracy of bass and soundstage, resulting in an immersive listening experience.

Inspired by the construct of the oldest national park in New Zealand and the home to both an UNESCO listed forest and the youngest volcano on the island, the Tongariro TR Premium Tuneable HiFi Isolation Feet combines materials of varying hardness with fine height adjustability to refine the sonic performance of any audiophile setup.

Innovatively designed, the Tongariro TR employs a triple-sandwich construction with high-quality solid stainless steel, precision milled walnut wood and engineered elastomers, which are united with fine height adjustment capability for unprecedented, fine-tuned dampening performance.

Starting with the solid stainless-steel inner cone designed for spikes, a natural walnut wood casing surrounds the inner cone whilst remaining isolated from the precision-machined solid stainless-steel outer case via twin engineered elastomer rings. A specially formulated elastomer ring crowns the walnut wood with twin rings under the outer case ensuring soft contact, grip and isolation. Underneath the outer case, a centre stainless-steel screw post provides fine height adjustment for the isolated walnut wood casing.

With its unique sandwich composite of materials of varying dampening characteristics perfectly fused in a fine height adjustable structure, the Tongariro TR awards listeners with a rare ability to fine tune its vibration attenuation behavior for enhanced clarity, accuracy and a mesmeric soundstage.

The beauty of the native New Zealand forest has been a hallmark attraction since its discovery, with none other than the towering Kauri tree as its largest and most iconic symbol. Highly sought after by ship builders over a century ago, the mature trees can reach over five metres in diameter with almost no branching and solid throughout the trunk, resulting in a need for protection from harvest.

Inspired by the majestic icon, the designers at Montaudio have created a premium Cable Elevator with the same name, sharing the same thick solid-wood structure using a single solid piece of Walnut wood for vibration attenuation. Precision-machined, the crown of the Kauri KR Cable Elevator is precisely calculated saddle-shaped, enabling a secure-yet-minimal contact area for cable placement to further reduce vibration transmission.

Providing a solid footing is a precision-machined, unibody stainless steel base with twin engineered elastomer rings underneath for non-slip placement & vibration isolation. The base is secured to the walnut trunk above via a stainless-steel screw post.
